A. whereas ‘marginalised communities’ refers to diverse groups and individuals; whereas racism, patriarchy, economic disadvantages and other discriminatory systems contribute to creating layers of inequality and a dynamic of disempowerment for women within marginalised communities, the lack of resources available to some social and cultural groups and other discriminatory systems contribute to creating layers of social inequality;
