1. Urges the Commission and the Member States to introduce a fundamental reform of the multiannual financial framework (MFF) to prevent Brexit from having any negative effects on the level of funding earmarked for EU- wide cooperation programmes, in the fields of culture, education and research, that have clearly demonstrated their European added value and enjoy lasting popularity among beneficiariesStresses that, in light of the UK leaving the Union, the UK must not be included within the future multiannual financial framework proposal; suggests that the Commission and the budgetary authorities make the relevant adjustments for the loss of revenue from the UK, as it is one of the largest net contributors to the EU budget;

Notes with great concern the rise of xenophobia, racism and violent extremism in Europe; calls, therefore, for inchighlights that growing reased funding for relevant EU programmes that foster social cohesion, tolerance and human rights, and promote open and inclusive European societies as the bedrock of our democratic model, in accordance with the Paris Declaration of 17 March 2015ntment in part is due to the issue of integration, therefore does not believe that taxpayers money ought to be spent on further EU programmes targeting citizens, but believes that those that wish to seek asylum, international protection or migrate to Europe must learn to respect the values of the Member States;

Stresses the importance ofNotes with great concern the timely approval of the post-2020 MFF and associated programme regulations to prevent problems in programme implementation and keep the transition period between the current and forthcoming periods to a minimum.pending deadline of 'before 1 of January 2018' for the Commission to submit their MFF proposal, as stipulated in Article 25 of the MFF Regulation; stresses that should the Commission not reach this deadline, that they will be breaking the terms of their own regulation;
