Acknowledges the good practices of synergies and cooperation among the agencies on living and working conditions and vocational training, which maximise the purpose of mutual complementarity between the agencies; stresses however that more synergies can be found with a view to ensuring cost-efficiency;

3 a. Highlights that the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training and the European Training Foundation have a combined annual budget of over €37 million; considers that separately funding two agencies with such a similar remit represents an inefficient use of public funds;
