Notes with regret that the geographical distribution of projects has been hitherto uneven; recalls that for the benefit of cohesion and sustainability objectives, the widest possible geographical spread should be considered in implementing the EFSI pipeline and that this spread should be equitable and proportional, taking into account the potential of sparsely populated areas in the EU;
