Emphasises the significant potential for the development of entrepreneurial activity in the tourism sector, in particular of tourism SMEs, which contribute to the preservation, protection and promotion of Europe’s cultural heritage; stresses that, in addition to cultural assets, quality of service and, high-level professional skills and well-trained specialists in the field in particular are key factors for the success and competitiveness of the European tourism sector;
