Endorses the recommendations published by the 2016 EU Sheepmeat Forum, held under the aegis of the Commission, in particular the need to compensate the sector for the environmental role it plays, especially where it is based on grazing; takes the view that these recommendations are equally valid for the sectors of goatmeat and ewe’s and goat’s milk products;
