Highlights the vital work done by Union delegations, in conjunction with Member State embassies, enabling swift and direct action to be taken to ensure that trade provisions are properly implemented; encourages the Commission and the EEAS to pursue their work in the field of economic diplomacy with the involvement in particular of European chambers of commerce and EU delegations in third countries;

Considers that the Commission should pay as much attention to implementation of the provisions of FTAs as it does to the negotiation phase; calls on the Commission to address the implementation problems with the relevant EU trade partners in order to find solutions and systematise exchanges with European operators;
