Favours a simplification of the own resources system for the post-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework that could be suitable for the establishment of a transparent, simpler and fairer system of own resources, building on elements of the current system where they have proved effective; considers that Traditional Own Resources and the GNI based own resource respond very well to these criteria; considers that the reform of the system of own resources should be based on a series of guiding principles;
