Notes that AI-improved image recognition softwaretechnologies could vastly enhance the ability of educational facilities and relevant actoteachers to provide and develop modern and innovative schooling methods while ensuring quality sources and respecting the protection of IPRsand fairness in education, non-discrimination and an adequate protection of personal data, in particular children’s data, through transparent and reliable data sources respectful of IPRs; such schooling methods should nevertheless be assessed as to their reliability and accuracy;

5 a. Asks the Commission to assess the impact of AI and AI related technologies in creating new audio-visual works such as deep fakes and to establish the appropriate legal consequences attached to their creation, production or distribution for malicious purposes.
