Stresses that in view of commercial activities on online market places, self- regulation has proven to be insufficient and, therefore, asks the Commission to introduce strong safeguards and obligations for product safety and consumer protection for commercial activities on online market places, accompanied by a tailored liability regime with proper enforcement mechanisms;
