Calls on the Commission to resume negotiations on a balanced, ambitious and comprehensive free trade agreement with the aim to secure improved market access with a significant reduction in barriers to trade taking into account sensitive EU products along with ambitious commitments under trade and sustainable development chapter; Calls for the introduction of mirror measures that would ensure that imported products from India conform with EU internal market, health, environmental and animal welfare standards and that the same protection for consumers regardless of the origin of the products is ensured;
