Calls for a legislative framework on the ethical aspects of AI applications in the workplace, especially with regard to workers’ rights and working conditions; stresses also the need for this legislative framework to be based on the European acquis as regards data protection, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679);
