Acknowledges the transformative potential of AI in developing increasingly effective education tools; calls on the Commission to propose an ambitious and more integrated European education agenda that takes into account AI- powered learning; highlights that, with adequate protection of fundamental rights and against biases, AI-powered learning can help bring education to disadvantaged communities, persons with disabilities, and other categories of European citizens lacking proper access to education, leading to a more inclusive society;

Stresses that next generation digital infrastructure and internet coverage are of strategic significance for providing AI-powered education to European citizens; in light of the COVID19crisis, calls on the Commission to elaborate a strategy for a European 5G that ensures Europe’s strategic resilience and is not dependent on technology from states who do not share our values;
