CRecalls the long-standing call of the Parliament for the Anti- Discrimination Directive that has been blocked in Council since 2008; calls on forthcoming presidencies of the Council to make equal treatment and the fight against discrimination a key priority and to adopt without delay the Anti-Discrimination Directive; stresses that this directive presents a unique opportunity to addressin all its forms a key priority to break the deadlock; calls for the adoption of a new Equality legislative framework combating intersectional discrimination, in fields other than employment and occupcluding in its structural and institutional forms, to move away from a single-axis individual approach and address systemic discrimination;
