Believes that the EU should use all instruments at its disposal, including trade agreements and strategic partnerships, in order to create the conditions to facilitate EU joint ventures in third, resource-rich countries, especially from Africa and South America, while always taking account of responsible sourcing and best practice in business conducts; integration of the Western Balkans’ countries in the EU supply chain is also of vital importance;
