CReiterates the importance of both the Eastern and the Southern Neighbourhood for the Union; calls for reversing the proposed budget cuts for the countries in the Southern Neighbourhood under the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI); reiterates that contributions from ENI to the Syria pledge and the EU Trust Fund for Africa must not come at the expense of the ENI core priorities and calls for these additional commitments to be fully offset by reinforcements; underlines the importance of continuous support and contributions to the Eastern Partnership countries;
