Calls for a wide view and the utilization of all tools of development policy in the eradication of poverty and in the promotion of the other Sustainable Development Goals; is of the opinion that the effectiveness of development funding should be assessed also on the basis of its impact on the development policy as a whole; reminds that poverty reduction has been most effective in countries with sustainable economic growth; is of the opinion that Aid for Trade and other forms of trade and private sector facilitation can be instrumental for the effectiveness of development policy;
