CRecalls the importance of a stable European neighbourhood, and highlights in particular the need to support key countries, such as Ukraine, Moldova, Tunisia and Georgia, which all have shown significant progress that should be acknowledged and supported; calls for reversing the proposed budget cuts for the countries in the Southern Neighbourhood under the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI); reiterates that contributions from ENI to the Syria pledge and the EU Trust Fund for Africa must not come at the expense of the ENI core priorities and calls for these additional commitments to be fully offset by reinforcements;
