Welcomes the European Commission's communication titled 'A New Deal for Consumers' of 11 April 2018, regrets however, that the proposed amendment to Article 6 of the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (UCPD) may not lead to greater legal certainty; Believes that the preferred option should be adding the practice of dual quality to the blacklist of commercial practices which are in all circumstances considered unfair under Annex I of the UCPD;
