Calls on the Commission to ensure that its legislative proposals for CAP reform include adequate measures and instruments which allow the opportunity for farmers to integrate protein crop production into improved crop rotation systems so as to overcome the current protein deficit, improve farmers‘ revenues and address the key challenges agriculture is facing, such as climate change, the loss of biodiversity and soil fertility and the protection and sustainable management of water resources;
