Calls, therefore, on the Commission, the European External Action Service (EEAS) and the Member States to convey an ambitious, accessible message about EU achievements and activity to people both within the EU and in neighbouring countries; highlights the need to explain EU external policy vis-à- vis neighbouring countries, with an emphasis on shared values, cooperation and peer-to-peer relationships; considers that the EEAS website could be the platform from which this message is disseminated, and calls for it to be translated into Russian and Arabic;
