Welcomes the Commission’s proposal for a chapter on trade and sustainable development in TTIP, as part of its ongoing commitment to ensure sustainable development; notes that up till now the US has sought in its trade agreements, notably the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), to negotiate higher standards covering trade in wildlife than the EU has;
