Underscores the importance of the EU’s commitment on the exchange of best- practice and to supporting the measures taken by Member States, especially when several Member States are affected by a common disaster; therefore advocates making use of the valuable experience acquired in this field through projects implemented in the past under the Community’s INTERREG initiative.;
