Emphasises the importance of developing the legal concept of shared ownership in order to ensure full recognition of women’s rights in the agricultural sector, appropriate protection in the field of social security and recognition of women’s work, and the need to amend the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) Regulation, so as to make it possible, as is the case under the European Social Fund (ESF), to take positive action for women in the future programming 2014-2020 period, bearing in mind that this was feasible in earlier periods but cannot be done in the current one and that such measures will have very beneficial effects on female employment in rural areas;
