Welcomes the very good public outreach on the EED’s achievements so far, and considers that further underlining the uniqueness and added value of the EED would increase its fundraising capacity; takes the view that the EED should engage with and support the emergence and consolidation of political parties with clear commitment to democratic principles, whenever possible in partnership with existing political foundations;
