Concerning the satellite sector, calls upon India to engage in dialogue with and open its market to European companies in order to: (a) better support national development objectives and meet ever-increasing domestic demand for Direct-To-Home TV and broadband services, and (b) overcome security concerns around mobile satellite services with new technical solutions that provide national authorities with more than adequate control over mobile satellite communications;
