Notes that, as the Authority’s workload is increasingly shifting from legislative tasks to enforcing and applying the Union law, the Authority’s budget and manpower should be reallocated internally; notes that, for the purpose of ensuring sufficient staff at the Authority for implementing its tasks, budget and resources should be allocated properly, also in the case of additional tasks, which would further ensure its credibility and independence;
