Encourages Member States to facilitate female entrepreneurship in the SME sector by establishing appropriate professional and financial advice facilities that take full account of the gender aspects of enterprise development and which take into account women's wider roles in their families and/or communities;

Recognises that any system of support offered to entrepreneurs, and particularly women entrepreneurs, including skills and enterprise management training and facilitated access to resources (including equipment, premises, transport and credit), must be on-going so as to help businesses survive beyond the basic start- up;
