Points to the need to ensure that sufficient resources are allocated in the 2021 budget to allow the Union to rapidly take the concrete actions needed to address the climate and environment emergency; insists that the next budget should help the Union to meet its obligations under the Paris Agreement, shoul and be fully aligned with the objectives of limiting global warming to under 1.5 °C, and should contribute to reversing the decline in biodiversity; underlines in this regard also the importance of effective climate and biodiversity proofing of the budget;
