Welcomes the EU for Ukraine initiative; welcomes the fact that all EIB actions in Ukraine are guided by the priorities for reconstruction and will be fully aligned with the upcoming Ukraine plan; welcomes the technical assistance component to ensure optimal project preparation and implementation, as well as capacity building measures; welcomes the EIB’s efforts to prevent, deter and investigate fraud and corruption in relation to its projects in Ukraine; calls for the EIB to take into consideration the geopolitical situation and investments needed in frontline countries, including infrastructure and facility transport, border protection, Schengen;
