Recalls that the Accession Treaties of Bulgaria, Slovakia and Lithuania included provisions regardingAcknowledges mutual commitments taken by the EU and Bulgaria, Slovakia and Lithuania with regard to decommissioning of, respectively, four units of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant; Unit 1 and 2 of Bohunice V1 Nuclear Power Plant and Units 1 and 2 of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant. Recalls that the closure of those eight nuclear reactors, due to their low safety standards; was a precondition for the accession of Bulgaria, Slovakia and Lithuania to the EU and is enshrined in the Accession Treaties of Bulgaria, Slovakia and Lithuania;
