Calls on the Commission to leverage the resources of the Common Strategic Framework for EU Research and Innovation funding to ensure the sustainable implementation of the Biological and Medical Sciences Research Infrastructures as a public R&D service, oriented towards a better quality of life of the citizens, a way to advance on a knowledge-based society that can face the societal challenges in Europe;
