Considers that the implementation by the EFCA of a ‘core curriculum’ for the training of fisheries inspectors is one startingan essential point for the standardisation of inspector training and control procedures; notes that Member States do not have, unless it is voluntarily so, the same training standards, which means that the content of qualifications, recruitment and objectives are different;
