Stresses that freedom of expression and media independence and pluralism are cornerstones of a solid and sustainable democracy and of common values; strongly supports and calls for the free flow of information, for conditions to be ensured that allow journalists to work effectively and freely without political, economic or other pressure, and for the construction of infrastructure which will make it possible to develop modern electronic technology;
