Regrets that the current reform of the Transparency Directive (2004/109/EG) and of the Accounting Directive (2003/51/EG) does not address the issue of corporate societal responsibility sufficiently; calls on the Commission to ensure that companies falling under these directives are obliged to report regularly on their CSR activities, particularly in non-EU states.
