Stresses that water and sanitation services should be removed from any trade agreements the EU is negotiating and urges the Commission to grant a legally binding exclusion for water services in the ongoing negotiations for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and the Trade in Services Agreement, being services of general economic interest, may be kept under public management if so chosen by the local responsible authority, notwithstanding ongoing trade agreements in which the EU is involved;
