This proposed Directive calls for common frequency bands for DSRR throughout the Community. It is based on the work of CEPT which has recommended the 888-890 band in association with 933-935 MHz for DSRR. The objective of the Directive is to ensure the availability od sufficient frequency resources in order to implement the system at the earliest possible date.�
