  In light of the conclusions contained in the Commission's report concerning a review of Community energy legislation, the Commission proposed repealing Regulation (EEC) No 1038/79 on Community support for a hydrocarbon exploration project in Greenland. The results obtained after completing this project did not give rise to a commercial exploration. There was therefore no need to retain this Regulation. �
