   EP - Debate in Parliament
Details

The House held a debate on Oral Question O-0028/2007 on multiple sclerosis tabled by the Committee on Petitions:

Subject: Multiple Sclerosis Code of Best Practice

"On the basis of the petition No 0842/2001 submitted by Louise McVay, the European Parliament overwhelmingly approved in December 2003 a report A5-0451/2003 and accompanying resolution submitted by the Committee on Petitions concerning measures to assist European citizens with multiple sclerosis.

On the basis of the resolution and in cooperation with Multiple Sclerosis Societies in the Member States and the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform, a Code of Best Practice has been prepared and submitted to the EU institutions.

Would the Commission indicate the specific measures which it has taken to implement this resolution and, in particular, the Code of Best Practice?"

----------

The debate was not followed by the adoption of a resolution.
