Requests the Commission to submit to Parliament within six months of the date of adoption of this resolution, on the basis of Article 308 of the EC Treaty, a legislative proposal for one of the following: - a financing instrument for actions other than Official Development Assistance in countries falling under Regulation (EC) No 1905/2006; - amendments to Council Regulation (EC) No 1934/2006 of 21 December 2006 establishing a financing instrument for cooperation with industrialised and other high-income countries and territories to extend its application to countries falling under Regulation (EC) No 1905/2006; Calls for the resulting legislation to be used to finance non-ODA activities in countries in which ODA-activities are financed under Regulation (EC) No 1905/2006;. source: PE-415.221
