Details
PURPOSE: partial renewal of the Court of Auditors (2020) - appointment of the Luxembourg candidate.
The European Parliament is consulted on the Council's proposal to appoint Joëlle ELVINGER as a Luxembourg member of the European Court of Auditors.
The candidate has been a lawyer at the Court since 2009. She has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies in Luxembourg since 2013 and has been a member of the municipal council for the municipality of Walferdange since 2017.
