Recalls that in order to develop appropriate and effective policies to ensure an accessible society for all persons with disabilities in the EU, there is a need for comparable and reliable EU data; therefore, calls on the Commission and the Member States to intensify their efforts to collect reliable statistics and data on the participation of persons with disabilities in the various levels and types of education, labour and participation in social life;
