  • Graduate of the School of Translation and Interpretation of the University of Geneva (1964). Worked as a journalist. Arrested in 1967 during the dictatorship of the colonels by the Security Police because of her participation in 'Deka', a Resistance organization.
  • Former member of the Directorial Committee of the Union of Women of Greece.
  • Member of the PA.SO.K. Committee for International Relations, and representative of the committee on missions abroad.
  • Founder member of the Centre for Research on the Situation of Women in the Mediterranean Region.
  • Has published articles in newspapers and magazines on the situation of women.
  • Has represented the Union of Women of Greece at international conferences abroad.
