  • Graduate in social and political sciences. Professional journalist and writer. Served as volunteer in the Italian East Africa Campaign (1935-1936) and in the Second World War (1940-1945).
  • In 1946 he conceived the idea of founding the Italian Social Movement, which he formed with the aid of some friends, and of which he was the leader and for a long time National President and President of the Central Committee.
  • Member of the Chamber of Deputies and Senator of the Republic for nine terms. Vice-Chairman, Group of the European Right in the European Parliament.
  • Author of several volumes and many historical-political studies. Editor of 'L'Italiano', the monthly devoted to political life and culture which he founded in 1959.
