La migración es un fenómeno complejo que supone retos para los países receptores y oportunidades para las personas que llegan a nuestras costas. La Unión Europea debe velar por una migración controlada y por vías seguras, que no ponga en peligro la integridad humana o alimente a mafias que se lucran a costa de la vida de los más débiles. Además, tiene el deber proteger sus fronteras del posible uso de la migración de una manera politizada por parte de Estados terceros.El propósito del texto, con el que concuerdo personalmente, es el de reconocer los derechos de las personas migrantes como derechos humanos. No concede más derechos de los que la perspectiva humanista y europeísta tiene que reconocer. Igualmente solicita más rigor, trasparencia, esfuerzos y compromiso para tratar el tema migratorio por parte de todos los actores involucrados a nivel europeo.De todas formas, he votado en contra de este informe, ya que presenta imprecisiones en cuanto a referencias sobre el uso de instrumentos y mecanismos destinados a la gestión de la migración.

Encourages the Commission to step up technical assistance to Viet Nam and available funding to Viet Nam andfor the sound development of its independent civil society in order to support Viet Nam’s compliance with its international human rights obligations and the monitoring of the proper implementation of Article 13 of the FTA.
